DO NOT go up onto the roof. The roof structure may be weak and the roof may not be safe to walk on. ONLY a flat roof specialist should carry out an emergency repair. | |

Shut off the power to any electrical connections or equipment that might come in contact with water. | |

Remove equipment and furniture that might get damaged. | |

Use buckets, mops, towels, etc., to contain water and stop it from spreading. | |

Tape off the area to keep personnel away. | |

Check the rest of your ceiling for signs of damage. | |
